With a background in teaching and a passion for helping others achieve optimal health, Dr. Tillman provides tailored treatments and guidance to uplift your well-being.

My name is Dr. Travis Tillman, and I am the owner of Tillman Family Chiropractic located in Freeport, FL!  I have lived in the Freeport area since 2013 and cannot believe how fast our small town is growing.

I grew up a military child as my dad was an officer in the United States Air Force.  This gave me some amazing opportunities to see the world at a young age.  After being stationed at Hickam AFB in Hawaii for 3 years, my dad received orders to Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. One year after moving to Illinois I had a life changing diagnosis with my health.  I was in 5th grade, and this is when I was diagnosed with Type I (juvenile) diabetes.  This diagnosis would change my life.  Being diagnosed with diabetes was something I would not wish on anyone, but I am grateful it turned my focus to true health care and has helped shape my philosophy today.  Through this diagnosis I found a passion for true health and a desire to share this with others.

I graduated with an undergraduate degree from Eastern Illinois University in Health Science Education with an education certification to teach health to grades 6-12. I had always wanted to be a teacher and I wanted to teach kids about health.  However, I quickly realized that our school health system is not teaching true health and I was missing a large portion of the population.  My goal was and is to change lives and provide individuals of all ages with an opportunity to transform their health and lifestyle.  Having experienced amazing results through chiropractic care due to sports injuries, I knew chiropractic was my calling. I enrolled in chiropractic school at Logan College of Chiropractic and 4 years later graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in April 2013.

I have practiced many different styles of chiropractic: personal injury, correction, and wellness. My philosophy is based upon the true philosophical chiropractic principle, which is that the power that made the body, heals the body.

I have a passion for helping others and helping them fulfill their God-given potential by becoming the healthiest version of themselves. My goal is to provide hope to anyone that walks through my front doors and help you accomplish all goals you have for your health. Throughout my 11 years of practice, I have performed over 150,000 adjustments and have been able to provide care to all ages: from a newborn baby to 97 years old!  No one should have to live in pain and my goal is to not only help you get out of pain, but help you stay out of pain by keeping your nervous system functioning to its highest level through specific chiropractic care. At our office, we provide specific adjustments that help balance the nervous system and keep you going. We also recommend specific exercises based on motion digital x-rays (which are different from the normal static x-rays most offices take) and utilize a whole-body vibration platform after your adjustments to help strengthen the spine muscles and help to hold your adjustments longer!

In my free time, I love playing tennis, and occasionally you may even see me teaching tennis lessons for MatchPoint Tennis Resorts at the Watercolor tennis facility down on 30A. I have an amazing wife, Karen (who I met on tiktok and married in September of 2023), a beautiful 13-year-old daughter, Elin who is an amazing cheerleader with World Class Athletics in Panama City Beach, as well as 2 dogs and 4 cats at home that all keep me incredibly busy and happy.  If I am not adjusting patients 7 days a week or on the tennis court, you can find me out on a boat or doing something around town.

Helping people with pain is great, but helping people live more fulfilling lives is better!

I am a chiropractor because I am passionate about helping people live their best and happiest life, and chiropractic care helps me do just that every day. I would love to sit down and talk with you about your health goals, and I look forward to seeing you and serving you in our office!
